About this part
A suede-effect cover that fits over the gear selector of F-series BMWs, hiding a scuffed or peeling selector and giving it a softer feel. A matching gear panel cover is offered for the 1 to 4 Series. Both fit with double-sided tape, with nothing to dismantle.

Check before ordering: Two selector cover shapes, Type A and Type B, are offered without explaining the difference, so compare both with your selector in the photos. Type A and the gear panel cover come in LHD and RHD versions; Type B has no drive-side split. The gear panel cover fits the 1 to 4 Series only.

Is it real Alcantara?
The material is described as Alcantara over ABS, but the spec sheet also mentions imitation carbon fibre, and we can't verify the material. We describe it as a suede-effect cover.
Do I need the LHD or RHD version?
Choose by the side your steering wheel is on. Type A covers and the gear panel covers are made in both versions; Type B is a single version.
Type A or Type B?
The difference isn't described. Compare the two shapes in the photos with your selector, or email info@bmwmods.com with a photo and we'll check it for you.
Will it hide a worn or peeling selector?
Yes, that's the purpose. The cover sits over the existing selector, so the original stays in place underneath.
