BMW 2 Series G42 / G87 (2021+)

The G42 and G87 are recent cars, so the parts here are cosmetic upgrades rather than repairs for worn parts. The range for this chassis is still being built. It currently includes gloss black and carbon-look mirror caps, a carbon fibre fuel cap cover and a suede gear selector panel cover.

How to check fitment: the mirror caps here fit the standard G42 mirrors, which share their shape with the G20 3 Series, and some listings offer left- and right-hand-drive versions. All three mirror cap listings exclude the M240i, so check the notes before ordering for that model. The mirror caps do not fit the M2 (G87), which has its own mirrors shared with the M3 G80 and M4 G82. The M2 shares its headlights, tail lights and boot lid with the G42, and its curved-display dashboard with G42 cars built from July 2022, but its bumpers, grille and side skirts are its own, so G42 parts for those areas will not fit it. The 2 Series Gran Coupe (F44) and Active Tourer are different cars, and their parts do not fit the G42. Rely on the chassis codes listed for each part rather than the model name.
