LED Interior Light Kit for BMW X1, X2, X3, X4, X5, X6 (2000-2023)

A canbus-ready LED interior light kit that replaces the halogen or festoon bulbs in the dome, map, vanity-mirror and boot lights with direct-fit LEDs, no dashboard error messages. Each chassis has its own bulb set and count, listed below.

Fitment

Check before ordering: This kit replaces halogen and festoon bulbs, it isn't for cars that already have factory LED interior lighting. Order the chassis-specific kit for the right bulb count and fit; a mismatched SKU won't seat correctly. One E83 buyer found their front reading light switched off after about ten seconds, which may be the car's own timer rather than a fault.

Fitting

• Plug-and-play swap for the original bulbs, no wiring changes
• Allow about 15 minutes for the full set
• Turn the light off first, the old bulb may be hot
• If a bulb doesn't light immediately, turn it 180 degrees in the socket

Will this trigger a dashboard error?

It's built to run canbus error-free. If a bulb doesn't light straight away, rotate it in the socket rather than assuming it's faulty.
