2. Troubleshooting Guide for Abnormal Lights After Installation (Priority Order)

If you encounter the following lighting issues right after installation, follow the corresponding instructions:

‌Inconsistent Light Colors Between Left and Right‌: Troubleshoot in the following priority order:

1)Check Wiring Connections First‌: Inspect if the pins at the connection are misaligned, loose, or if the connector shell is not fully locked. Adjust the connection to ensure the shell is tightly secured and pins are fully inserted, then test again after powering on.

2)Inspect the Light Strip’s Physical Condition‌: Confirm if the light strip was crushed or damaged during installation, especially if there are obvious dents or breaks at the bent parts. Such damage may cause internal circuit failure and lead to inconsistent light colors.

3)Pre-Installation Test Recommendation‌: To avoid problems after full installation, we strongly suggest temporarily powering on the footwell lights to test their color and brightness. Only proceed with fixed installation after confirming everything is normal.

‌Dim Light Brightness‌: This is a normal phenomenon and no cause for concern. The brightness of the footwell lights is affected by the refraction of natural daylight, and it syncs with the original car’s lighting system, adjusting according to the car’s ambient light control mechanism.

• To further reduce installation risks and avoid human-induced damage, please note the following guidelines:

We recommend having the installation done under the guidance of a professional, especially if you have no experience with car interior modifications;

• Prepare the matching tools before installation. Do not use non-specialized tools to pull the wiring harness or pry components;

• Hold the connector shell (do not pull the pins directly) when plugging or unplugging the wiring harness to prevent pin deformation or wire detachment;

• Avoid violently bending the light strip during installation. The bending angle should be no less than 90 degrees to prevent internal wire breakage.
