About this part
This plug-in device remembers your preferred stop-start setting so the auto start-stop system stays off without pressing the button every time you start the engine. It works with the factory stop-start off button already fitted to many 1 to 7 Series and X2 to X6 models, and connects between the button and its wiring loom in a few minutes.

It remembers the last state, it doesn't remove the stop-start system, and disabling stop-start where local rules require it is the owner's responsibility. A few buyers have reported a stored fault code after fitting; if a warning light appears, have the car scanned.
