About this part
A microfibre leather cover that you stitch onto the M Sport steering wheel to cover a worn, shiny or peeling rim. It suits E-series 1 Series, X1 E84 and 3 Series E90 to E93 cars with the M Sport wheel, and comes with needle and thread.

No. It is cut for the M Sport wheel fitted to these cars. The standard and Sport wheels have a different rim shape.
Do I need to remove the steering wheel?
No. You sew the cover on with the wheel in place, and the airbag stays untouched.
Is it real leather?
It is microfibre leather, a synthetic material chosen for grip and wear resistance.
Will it cover a worn or peeling rim?
Yes. It wraps over the existing rim, so wear, shine and small cracks are hidden underneath.
